VP-SHIELD™ Chafe Protector
Protecting ropes from abrasion and wear keeps them strong and makes mooring and towing safer. VP-SHIELD™ is a chafe protector made of high-tenacity polyester with a Velcro closure, so it wraps around the rope where it rubs on fairleads, chocks and edges.
It comes in 3-metre lengths and is orange for high visibility. It will not split or crack when bunched or compressed, and it improves the lifespan of the rope.
