Description
TOUGH-HS™ 24 – 24-Strand Polyolefin Mooring Rope
TOUGH-HS™ 24 is made from high-tenacity polyolefin fibre in a 24-strand braided construction. It is light, floats, absorbs almost no water and keeps the same strength wet or dry. WHR supplies this 24 strand polyolefin rope in Dubai and across the UAE.
A 24-strand rope is braided from 12 strand pairs. The extra strand layers spread the load evenly, reduce stress on each strand and make the rope more flexible, so it handles smoothly with less risk of kinking or twisting. It is used for ship mooring and towing lines.
