Description
Snap Back Reducer Mooring Rope
Snap-back, the violent recoil of a mooring line when it breaks, is one of the biggest hazards for crew on deck. The ROPENET Snap Back Reducer has a special internal core that absorbs and dissipates energy if the rope breaks, which drastically reduces the risk of violent recoil.
It is made specifically for mooring lines, in UHMWPE 12, 24 or 32-strand rope or in mixed polyolefin and polyester rope. It has high abrasion and UV resistance for a long service life, floats and complies with OCIMF MEG4.
