Racing PT-R – Ralon™ Core, Technora® Cover
Racing PT-R from Capella Ropes is built on a treated 12-strand Ralon™ (HMPE) core, covered by a 24/32-plait braid of Technora® and polyester. The Ralon™ core delivers low stretch, minimal creep and a very high breaking load for its light weight. The Technora® / polyester cover protects it from abrasion and from the heat built up in winches, clutches and stoppers. WHR supplies this racing halyard in Dubai and across the UAE.
The cover gives maximum grip under extreme winch and stopper conditions, so the line holds firm when loads peak. With excellent abrasion resistance, superior heat resistance, low stretch and light weight, it is a perfect all-round rope for demanding racing use. Every line is finished with Capella’s HPS and UCS treatments. Typical uses are multi-purpose halyards and sheets.
