Nylon Thimbles
Nylon thimbles are fitted into the spliced eye of a rope to keep the eye open and protect it from chafe and wear at shackles, rings and fittings.
Being nylon, they are light, cannot corrode and are gentle on deck fittings and gelcoat. They suit mooring, dock and general-purpose lines.
