Heater Cutter – Hot Knife Rope Cutter
The Capella Heater Cutter is designed for cutting and sealing synthetic ropes quickly and efficiently. The blade heats to 500 °C in just 3 seconds, melting through polyester, polyamide, polypropylene and similar fibres and sealing the ends at the same time, so they don’t fray.
The pistol-grip handle with trigger switch gives good control for straight, neat cuts. It comes in a handy carry case with a cleaning brush, so it is ready for rigging shops, chandleries, marinas and on-board maintenance.

The blade gets extremely hot. Allow it to cool before storing, and use it in a well-ventilated area.
