BULK Square Polyamide – 8-Plait Nylon Rope
Capella BULK Square Polyamide is an 8-plait square-braided rope made of polyamide (nylon). Nylon stretches under load and absorbs shock very well, so the rope cushions the surge of waves and wind instead of passing it to cleats, bollards and the vessel. The 8-plait construction makes the rope soft, flexible and easy to handle. It is torque-free and doesn’t kink, and it splices easily. It has a high breaking strength from 12 mm to 40 mm, and it is a reliable choice for mooring and anchor ropes on larger boats and workboats.
