BULK Square PolyTough – 8-Plait Polysteel Rope
Capella BULK Square PolyTough is an 8-plait square-braided rope made from polysteel, a high-tenacity polyolefin fibre. It gives high strength relative to its weight, so large diameters stay manageable on deck. The square 8-plait construction is torque-free, so it doesn’t kink or hockle, and it coils and runs easily. WHR supplies this polysteel rope in Dubai and across the UAE.
The rope floats, has good resistance to oil and most chemicals, and is supplied in 220 m bulk coils from 28 mm to 64 mm. It is used for ship mooring and towing, industrial and mining work, fisheries and aquaculture, animal husbandry and general heavy-duty use.
