MED Shock Cord – Elastic Bungee Cord
Capella MED Shock Cord combines a high-quality natural rubber core with a tightly braided cover of 100% high-tenacity polyester. The rubber core gives high elongation and strong recovery, and the polyester cover protects it from abrasion and sunlight.
The cord is lightweight, UV-stabilised and absorbs very little water, so it keeps its stretch in the marine environment. It is used for covers, sail ties, tie-downs, fender hangers and general bungee work. Pair it with Capella Nylon Clips for neat terminations.
