DURA-PA™ 24 – 24-Strand Polyamide Mooring Rope
DURA-PA™ 24 is made from high-tenacity polyamide fibre in a 24-strand braided construction. Polyamide stretches more than other fibres, so the rope absorbs shock loads well on mooring and towing lines. WHR supplies this nylon mooring rope in Dubai and across the UAE.
A 24-strand rope is braided from 12 strand pairs. The extra strand layers spread the load evenly, reduce stress on each strand and make the rope more flexible, so it handles smoothly with less risk of kinking or twisting. It is used for ship mooring and towing lines.
